Welcome Authors!

Hello and Welcome!

So you’ve started to write a new book – perhaps you’re a couple of pages or chapters in, or maybe you have even finished it.

You sit back and admire your manuscript – words, upon words form sentences and paragraphs and then morph into chapters. Plot arcs appear and storylines converge, worlds are built and characters come alive.

But then you see a spelling error. A sentence appears cumbersome. A chapter’s timing is off, or perhaps a major plot point is totally missing.

It’s time to start editing!

But where to start?

Do you edit as you write your story, or wait until the end? How many self-edits should you do before giving your precious manuscript to outsiders? Who should you get to provide feedback? Do you need to take on everyone’s feedback?

So much to consider, so many words to check!

This site can guide you through your editing process. It will give you ideas on ways to edit your manuscript, tips on who to ask to review your book, and what to do when you’re done.

And together, with the input of your Alpha Readers, Beta Readers, Proof Readers, Sensitivity Readers, Editors and your whole Review Team, your book will be a well polished manuscript ready for publication, with your ARC team ready to blast how amazing it is to the world!

Enjoy the journey!
